Boris Johnson has rejected claims that the government failed to do enough to prevent Russian interference in British democracy, following yesterday’s publication of a highly critical report from an influential Parliamentary Committee.
At Prime Minister’s questions the Labour leader, Sir Keir Starmer, said Mr Johnson had “sat on” the report for months, and that the government had badly underestimated the threat from Russia.
